We refer to the query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 1 March 2007 in relation to an article in The Star, Starbiz section, page B8 on the same day.
We wish to clarify that the quoted statement "Salcon Bhd expects revenue to double for the financial year ending December 31, 2007....." was strictly based on the management's internal budget for the financial year ending 31 December 2007. The budget for 2007 has taken into consideration the revenue from current and prospective projects.
We also wish to clarify that the quoted statement was not intended to refer to any financial estimate, forecast or projection of our Group and have not been reviewed by the external auditors.
This announcement is dated 2 March 2007.

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Star, STARBIZ, Page B8,
Thursday, 1 March 2007, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which is reproduced as follows:-
