The Board of Directors of Salcon Berhad ("Salcon" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that the Company had on 12 February 2007 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Australia SUN A PTY LTD to jointly invest in 5 wastewater projects in the Suzhou City, Jiangshu Province, China with an estimated total investment cost of RMB450 million for a total capacity of approximately 360 MLD.
Australia SUN A PTY LTD, via its subsidiary, has been awarded concession rights in 5 districts and towns in Suzhou City to refurbish, upgrade and construct new wastewater treatment plants of various sizes.
