Salcon Berhad is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Salcon Engineering Berhad, on 14 November 2007 has received a letter of award dated 2 November 2007 from Zecon Water Corporation Sdn Bhd for the Package 2: Construction of Petaseh Intake Pumping Station, Access Road and Associated Mechanical and Electrical Works.

Announcement Details :

The contract value for the Project is RM36.11 million, and the contract period is 30 months from the date commencement of the Project.


The Project will not have any significant effect on the earnings or net assets of Salcon Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2007.

Salcon do not foresee any exceptional risk other than operational risk associated with the said Project.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.
