Further to the announcement of 25 January 2008, the Board of Directors of Salcon Berhad wishes to inform that the client, Haining City Investment Group Co. Limited, is not able to implement the Yan Cang Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase III works ("Project") as scheduled as the approval for environmental impact assessment has not been obtained. As such, the Company has decided to stop pursuing the Project.
