Further to the announcement of 15 May 2008, the Board of Directors of Salcon Berhad wishes to inform that Salcon Engineering Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary, is still in negotiation with the Bupati Rokan Hilir on the proposal for the construction and completion of intake works, water treatment plant, balancing reservoir and raw and treated water trunk mains on a "Build, Operate and Transfer" (BOT) basis in Rokan Hilir, Province of Riau, Indonesia. The negotiation has yet to be finalized.
