Further to the announcement of 15 August 2008, Salcon Berhad wishes to inform that there is no material development on the negotiation between Salcon Engineering Berhad and the Bupati Rokan Hilir pertaining to the proposal for the construction and completion of intake works, water treatment plant, balancing reservoir and raw and treated water trunk mains on a "Build, Operate and Transfer" (BOT) basis in Rokan Hilir, Province of Riau, Indonesia. The negotiation is on-going.
