Further to the announcement of 14 January 2009, the Company wishes to inform that the proposed construction of a new 100 million litres per day wastewater treatment plant by Salcon Shandong (HK) Limited ("SSHK") has been put on hold by the People's Government of Changle County, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China.

SSHK does not expect to proceed further with the framework set out in the Memorandum of Understanding dated 11 July 2008.
