Further to the announcement of 23 January 2009, Salcon Berhad ("the Company") wishes to inform that Salcon Engineering Berhad ("SEB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has responded to the clarification of the Working Committee of Local Government of Kabupaten Bekasi, Indonesia, and the Committee is in the midst of evaluating the concession proposal submitted by SEB.
In addition, the Working Committee is also formulating the time schedule and procedure for the implementation of the proposed enhancement of water supply scheme in Kabupaten Bekasi, to be in line with the requirements of local regulations. |
