Further to the announcement of 19 March 2010 in respect of the acquisition of Salcon Engineering (India) Private Limited (“SEI”), Salcon Berhad would like to inform that the purchase consideration for the acquisition is as follows:-
(a) Salcon Engineering Berhad (“SEB”) has acquired 100 ordinary shares of Rs.10 each representing 1% equity interest in SEI for Rs.1,000; and
(b) Salcon Holdings (Mauritius) Limited (“SHM”), Mauritius, has acquired 9,900 ordinary shares of Rs.10 representing 99% equity interest in SEI for Rs.99,000.
The purchase consideration for the acquisition of 10,000 ordinary shares of Rs.10 each in SEI by SEB and SHM was satisfied wholly in cash.
