SALCON wishes to inform that Kencana Kesuma Sdn Bhd, a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has ceased its moneylending activities on 21 September 2024 and has not renewed it money lenders licence. Kencana Kesuma Sdn Bhd is a dormant company. The cessation of Kencana Kesuma Sdn Bhd’s moneylending business will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of SALCON. It is also not expected to have any effect on the net assets per share and earnings per share of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2024. This announcement is dated 29 October 2024. |
