Salcon Berhad (“Salcon” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company had on 23 May 2012 acquired three (3) shelf companies namely Gerbang Mawar Sdn Bhd (Company No. 983790 V) (“Gerbang Mawar”), Kencana Kesuma Sdn Bhd (Company No. 983799 K) (“Kencana Kesuma”) and Satria Megajuta Sdn Bhd (Company No. 987080 V) (“Satria Megajuta”).
Gerbang Mawar and Kencana Kesuma were both incorporated on 23 March 2012 while Satria Megajuta was incorporated on 17 April 2012.
Gerbang Mawar, Kencana Kesuma and Satria Megajuta each has an authorised share capital of RM100,000 divided into 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each and an issued and paid-up share capital of 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.
The intended principal activity of Gerbang Mawar, Kencana Kesuma and Satria Megajuta is renewal energy.
The above acquisitions will not have any significant effect on the earnings or net assets of Salcon Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2012 and the share capital of the Company.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of Salcon or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the aforesaid acquisitions.
