SALCON BERHAD ("SALCON" OR "THE COMPANY") - INCORPORATION OF AN INDIRECT WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF SALCON - JUVITER GROUP SDN BHD |

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of Salcon wishes to announce that Salcon Xinlian Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Anggerik Megajaya Sdn Bhd), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salcon, had on 21 February 2017, incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, Juviter Group Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1219109-D) ("JGSB"), under the Companies Act 2016.
The total share capital and number of issued share of JGSB is RM1.00 and one ordinary share respectively. The intended principal activities of JGSB are entertainment, event, film and television production, commercial advertising as well as information technology and software development.
The directors of JGSB are Mr Law Woo Hock and Mr See Che Chi.
The incorporation of JGSB does not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Salcon. It is also not expected to have any material effect on the net assets per share, gearing and earnings per share of Salcon for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the incorporation of JGSB.
