Salcon Berhad ("Salcon" or "the Company") - Letter of Acceptance from Jurutera Perunding Tegap Sdn Bhd

Salcon is pleased to announce that Envitech Sdn Bhd, a 60% owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 23 January 2018 accepted the Letter of Acceptance dated 22 January 2018 issued by Jurutera Perunding Tegap Sdn Bhd, for the following project:-

B. Upgrading of Existing Pumping Station from 12,750 P.E. to 25,500 P.E.,

C. Upgrading of Existing Treatment Plant from 21,750 P.E. to 43,500 P.E.,

D. All Associated Works

 

At Bandar Mahkota Banting, Mukim Tanjung Duabelas, Daerah Kuala Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan

 

(hereinafter referred as "the Project")

Shall commence on 30 January 2018 for a period of 12  months 

 

29 January 2019

RM7,085,846.25

 

The Project is a construction contract and has no option for renewal.

 

The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2018 to 31 December 2019.

 

Salcon does not foresee any exceptional risks other than execution risks associated with the Project.

 

The Project will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholding of the Company.

 

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.
