- Letter of Award from Seriemas Development Sdn Berhad

Salcon is pleased to announce that Envitech Sdn Bhd, a 60% owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 19 July 2018 accepted the Letter of Award dated 16 July 2018 issued by Seriemas Development Sdn Berhad for the following project:-

Design, Obtaining approval, Construction, Completion, Maintenance and Handing over of Proposed 1st Module Sewage Treatment Plant (37,500PE) and its associated works for Cadangan Pembangunan di atas Lot PT 32113, PT 321115 & PT 32134, Mukim Tanjong Dua Belas, Daerah Kuala Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan untuk Tetuan Seriemas Development Sdn Berhad

 

(hereinafter referred as “the Project”)

The Project shall commence on 23 July 2018 and be completed within a period of 15 months

 

23 October 2019

RM9,950,000.00

excluding 6% of good and service tax  

 

The Project is a construction contract and has no option for renewal.

The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2018 and 31 December 2019.

Salcon does not foresee any exceptional risks other than execution risks associated with the Project.

The Project will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of the Company.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.
